It's possible. Lyman Good could win, but I'm not going to say that he has a good, great, or excellent chance of winning the tournament. Reason being he still has to defeat a very game opponent in Jorge Ortiz. No matter who wins this battle I think the fight will be a barn burner because they both seem to possess good cardio to push hard for 3 rounds.

I think Ortiz can beat L. Good. Good just does not have the experience, he has not fight anyone with a decent record. (0-1-0, 0-2-0, 4-6-0)

Have you looked @ortis's record? 11 of his fights were against guys with loosing records. 5 of his fights against fighter's with winning records of which he lost 4 of them! Not to mention he did not look impressive in his win @ Bellator.

There are honestly tougher welter weights in the non tourney fights than the tournament. Excluding Good and Menne, there was no comparision.

Yes, but all of all those 4 fights that he lost were against tough oponents like joey Villasenor, Jon Fitch, Jesse Taylor, and Eugene Jackson. Don't tell me you havent heard of those guys? Good has a win over mma fighters that really dont represent a risk to his record. The mata leon that he performed @ Bellator is first grade jiu-jitsu. Please !!

The fight was stopped without letting the corner work on the cut and that's a shame for Ortiz and Good. Who are you "showdog"? Well so far Im 1-0 as as heavyweight. So i have been in the cage. sorry it was a ring.Have you guys? I have seen Lyman fight many times. The problem is he is not getting enough credit because of his record. Know i will get back on my couch LOL!!!

I personally like Lyman Good ! I think he got what it takes to win that title. Ortiz was a great opponent but unfortunately the fight had to be stopped. It would have been nice if Ortiz could keep fighting to see more action from both fighters. Lyman Good will become the champion.
