Now this fight should flesh out these 2 fighters a bit more than the hype.

This fight shows that Masvidal is a top fighter. He showed great ground skills against Eric Reynolds. I think he would have beaten Eddie Alvarez had they met in the finals. It also makes Toby Imada's win over Masvidal that more impressive!

Somehow Masvidal had a hard time finishing Reynolds. Just like Alvarez. Just wait until Eric Reynolds improves his game!

I use to think that Masvidal would have beaten Alvarez, but after looking at both of their fights with Eric Reynolds, I think that Alvarez may have an edge in his superior wrestling against Masvidal.
