Toby Imada vs Jorge Masvidal was the fight of the tournement in my opinion! Maybe the fight of the year! What an epic battle! Masvidal used his height and reach to keep Toby Imada at bay with his world class striking for most of the fight, but the tide began to turn in the 3rd round when Imada almost had him early on, then finally got him locked up quickly in the inverted triangle choke. Masvidal was choked unconscious while still standing and was out from about :00:41 to at least :00:52 of the YouTube clip, when the picture fades out... What an awesome, brutally spectacularly beautiful submission! All I can say is WOW!!!!!!

What a spectacular come from behind effort!!! In any case, Toby Imada has to be the underdog in the final matchup of the Bellator tournement. He is a complete unknown. He was behind on the cards with Masvidal. Alvarez is a acknowledged and highly-ranked MMA star! It would be an incredible story for Bellator if Toby Imada won, but that doesn't seem likely, does it.

I guess a lot of people want to put as much distance from their previous words as possible. Understandable. Others want to trash the real outcome of the fight. What a good insight into human behavior! Ha!!

According to you, imaba is ****ed, but about 389,000 viewers of YouTube would be puzzled by your comment. You can't just say it and it's true any more, bob lee.

Well, an impressive run comes to an end by walking right into a hard right! I really thought he might have won the Final! I thought he was doing better than Alvarez up until that point! That's the way it goes in MMA.

Saw enough in the Final with Alvarez to know that Imada could beat him. Positively. Got to watch those lucky punches! Even after that hit, Imada almost escaped. He took all Alvarez could dish out, what a warrior! Awesome!

Eddy Alvarez kept grabbing the cage throughout the first round. Had to be warned a couple of times, but he still did it over and over. Still he was taken down twice and almost taken down another two times jsut in the first round!

Sports Illustrated Submission of the Year! A small nod to Toby Imada for his reverse standing inverse triangle choke of Jorge Masvidal, even though some people want to ignore it. But almost half-a-million You Tube viewers tend to disagree and support Toby Imada!

What is obvious in these fights is that ranking is not that meaningful, except for those really focused on that aspect of the sport. Ranking did not match performance.

Ya, Alvarez grabbed the cage as many time as he could to keep from being taken down or to keep Toby Imada against the cage. He must have done this 10 times at least or more...
But maybe that's his style. He was surely the aggressor in this regard, but not in any other that I could see! And I looked at it over and over! Oh, well...

Here's a guy who hardly trained more than a couple of hours after work in the past. We've seen what he is capable of. What will the future hold for this ronin. Whoever was interested in his future should be ashamed!

Cool! Exciting! Impressive guts! But too tentative and lacking the killer instinct. Maybe Too much judo-culture respect for the opponent?
