How can a fighter have 8 takedowns and effective ground and pound yet lose the fight by unanimous decision. The damn bellator blogger had it unanimous for gerhart. Everyone was shocked in the arena by the decision and the judges had to of been paid off cuz he's a hometown boy. Palomino won the last rd no doubt but the first 2 were no doubt troy gerhart. Its inexcusable and a complete outrage that a major organization like Bellator has judging issues and the fact that they used a first time referee for thier best show...

I haven't seen the fight, but based on what was reported on the Bellator website, I have to agree. How can the ring-side reporter on their Blog write a round-by-round favoring Gerhart, then write at closure that Palomino won?
But maybe it's a matter of inaccurate reporting. I thought Toby Imada clearly won the first round of the Final against Alvarez, but the reporter wrote that the favorite Alvarez won that round. I say the fight. Hmmm.

Oh Boy ! That's gonna keep happening. Bellator is trying to become noticed so if thay involves fixing up the fights they'll do so. Sometimes the referees don't really know what's going on cause they used to be Boxing Referees and they had different rules and different techniques when it comes to points. I'm not defending Bellator neither the Referee but that is something that we can't control. I just hope MMA doesn't turn out to be the same as Boxing where the fights are arranged and the fighters are treated differently

I saw the fight gerhart had the first two rounds clearly anyone could have seen that.I think there was some favoritism for the hometown fighter.It sucks because of this bogus decision he will have a flaw in his undefeated record that should not be there.

If I need to learn more about MMA than you need to learn how to use this forum man cause the one who made the explanation about the take downs and what happened during the fight was someone anonymous, I was just quoting what he said. Read first and then write back
I guess that lots of us need 2 learn more about MMa b/c everybody thinks the same when it comes to the final decision of this fight. The judges are the ones who need to learn the scoring board and what winning a round means

Hey Pako i saw your boy palomino fight he is not that great and those five punches in the ribs wow gerhart didnt even flinch. If palomino was such a good fighter like you say why was he running around the cage like a little bitch.Palomino should work on his ground game or maybe he should join"so you think you can dance"!!! You know gerhart should have won !!!!!!

All I can remeber was white boy frustrated as hell to a point he lost control and hit baboon on the chest with his head......dat simply explains there is not enough techinque to win a fight.....

I think the fighters can talk to the judges once the fight has ended and argue about their decision. If the fighter is certain that he/she won the fight then they need to stand up and talk 2 the judges. I guess they'll go back and watch the fight again if any doubts, I don't really know how that works
